Melody Bearden has 10 years' experience teaching private violin lessons. She earned a violin performance degree from Kennesaw State University and is a former member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Cooke Scholarship String Quartet.

Diana Christy has been taking cello lessons for 12 years. She’s performed in dozens of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and solo recitals, and has also had the privilege of sitting principal cello in the Allstate 11/12 string orchestra in 2025.

I am 13 years old and I currently am 1st chair viola in orchestra 4, although I have also played violin in O4. I started piano when I was 4 years old and I have had a passion for music ever since. I have achieved 1st chair cello in the district honors orchestra and principal viola in GMEA Allstate orchestra.

Benjamin Okie is a Junior in high school and started playing the violin when he was 5 years old. He has been playing in orchestra 4 at NMME for 4 years, and also participates in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. He plans to pursue music performance in college. He started teaching this Summer, and thanks his amazing teacher, Mr. Christy, for his exemplary teaching methods.
